Climbing and reaching a peak can be done in many ways.
After all, if it is not the goal to be important but the journey, it is how you do it that makes the difference.
Two great athletes who have known their limits and continue to challenge and overcome them, will talk about their own personal way.
One is Moreno Pesce, a differently-abled athlete who, following the amputation of a leg, has dedicated his life to reaching new heights, taking on impressive vertical tests, such as, a few months ago, when he climbed to the top of Marmolada, Punta Penìa (3343 m), the roof of the Dolomites.
Even our second guest had exeptional achievements in the Marmolada (and not only).
Angelika Reiner is a multiple Ice Climbing world champion and in Rocca Pietore she was the first woman to do the "A Line Above The Sky", the most difficult dry-tooling route in the world, opened in 2016 by the recently deceased mountaineer Tom Ballard.
Angelika will tell us about how, from the world ice competitions her gaze is now increasingly turning to rock, mountaineering, travel and adventure.
