THE SMUGGLERS' PATH - EVENING HIKE

WALKING / TREKKING

From Teso Forest to the summit of Poggio dei Malandrini, 1662 m: the high ridge separates the slope descending westward towards the valley of the Verdiana stream from the slope descending eastward towards the valley of the Orsigna stream. Upon reaching the summit, a wide panoramic view opens up.

Difficulty: Moderate (E) - Distance: 8 km - Elevation gain: 470 m

Estimated time: 4 and a half hours excluding breaks.

Led by: Silvia Mazzoni, environmental hiking guide and forest bathing facilitator

Equipment:

  • Clothing and hiking shoes
  • Layered clothing (fleece, windproof layer, shell or raincoat) and long pants
  • Headlamp
  • Snacks
  • Minimum 1.5 liters of water
  • Trekking poles
  • Daypack + rain cover
  • Sun hat

 

Please note: For safety reasons, the guide reserves the right to refuse participants with inadequate clothing and/or equipment. Additionally, the guide may modify the route in case of unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather to ensure the safety of participants.
