ANDREA BIANCHI

Andrea Bianchi (1971) is a writer and an academic member of GISM, Italian Group of Mountain Writers, he is a publisher, journalist and engineer.

In 2006 he published The Last of the Romantics, Life and Ideals of Spiro Dalla Porta Xydias.

In 2011 with his story “The perfect listening point “ he won the 9th edition of the Leggimontagna literary prize within the unpublished section.

In 2014 he published La Inner Peak , An Alpine interpretation of the Yogasutras of Patañjali” , as part of the GISM mountaineering ethics series.

In 2016, with Ediciclo Editore, he published “ the silence of the steps” a little praise of walking barefoot in nature.
In 2017, always with Ediciclo Editore, he released Barefoot. A silent walk from A to Z.

In April 2018, his last book, with Mondadori: La Terra Sotto i Piedi

He is the editor of MOUNTAINBLOG the online magazine which is today one of the most followed and well regarded websites in Italy related to the mountain world and all the outdoor sports. It’s also translated in English for its international followers.
