The Way of St. Bartholomew is managed by a group of volunteers, some of whom also represent the non-profit associations of the mountain, who take care of maintenance and reporting and assist pilgrims in organizing their trip.

The Way of San Bartolomeo is a devotional and naturalistic path that unites the places dedicated to the cult of the Saint between the provinces of Modena, Pistoia and Lucca. Conceived in 2015, it develops over five days of walking for a total of over 100 km between Fiumalbo (MO) and Pistoia, with an alternative departure from Bagni di Lucca (LU) to Popiglio (PT).

The itinerary allows a pleasant walk through luxuriant woods, where nature reigns supreme. In each stage you will encounter many places of interest: some of the most characteristic villages of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the historical testimonies managed by the Pistoia mountain Ecomuseum, and obviously the churches dedicated to San Bartolomeo, connected to each other by the Way.
