Having a background as a competitive athlete in combat sports, martial arts, artistic gymnastics, and calisthenics, Matteo Niro began his coaching career in 2005, managing pre-acrobatics and martial arts classes for children. He graduated as a bodyweight gymnastics instructor and later specialized as an athletic coach and personal trainer starting in 2008, focusing on strength and bodyweight movement disciplines. In the following years, he obtained various certifications, including Strength and Conditioning Coach, Calisthenics Skills, Calisthenics Endurance and Strength, Functional Training, and Movement Training.
In 2015, he connected with the Amnio Teatro company, where he translated his "gymnastic" knowledge into artistic expression.
He participated in various workshops, including body contact, rope with Gianluca Gerlando Gentiluomo, and solo and duo aerial silks at Spazio Nu in Pontedera and Spazio Seme in Arezzo.
In 2021, he founded the Ad Maiora Studio asd Association.

Today, he is a personal trainer, a circus arts instructor and the artistic director of the Kalicircus company.
