Michele Evangelisti was born in Livorno on July 25th 1980. He started with sport, karate, at only 5 years old. This immediately became an incentive for developing his will, discipline and dedication to what he deeply loves, SPORT!

He practised years of Rugby then he fel in love with rowing! a passion transferred by his parents and grandfather ..... he spent more than 10 years in lakes, rivers and sea and 3 years as a professional rower, reaching for the Olympic dream!
This dream remained unfulfilled but as something is taken something is given, in sport like in life ... and a new passion began .. He started running first 5, 10, 21, 42, then 50 km ... they seem to never being enough for him and it is the turn of 100km. He won two national medals, he participated to the 2011 World Championships in Winshoten in Holland and to the Europeans 2013 in Belves in France.

Challenges are not over. It is the turn of the "big hamster" as defined by Maik, the 24 hour .. for just a few km he is out of the National Team in 2015.

His real love is now another ... the Ultra Trail, in all its forms, from long trips, one or more days, to solitary crossings like in Ireland from West to East... in July 2015 the challenge was to run as fast as possible in the Alpe Adria Trail .. 700km and more than 30000 D +

He is a 360 sportsman. He passionately loves all endurance sports such as mountain biking and skiing (both alpine and Nordic ...) but in its most extreme forms! .. Tester for shoe and cloths brands, he conducts a programme in an on-line radio in Turin, RadioRun with his Trail Laboratory programme.

In July 2015 he faced his biggest challenge, the Alpe Adria Trail 735.5km / 35750D + / 142H4 ': "and it's a Record"! In September 2015 he tried the Tor Des Geants, for the Ferrino Team, but it was unfortunately suspended due to extreme weather conditions.

His latest adventure is ACROSS THE OUTBACK, the Australia crossing race, 3.113 km between November 13th and December 26th 2016!

His character is emphasized by his Livorno accent and his great desire to make jokes at the tuscans! .. he is happy to give advice to anyone who needs and he is always looking for improvement!

His motto: where can you get to? It depends only on your mind, always in motion!
