Piero Badaloni is a journalist, writer and a famous TV reporter for Tg1. He won the reporter of the year award in 1980 and during his carrer he has host several awarded television programs like "Drugs to do", "Italia sera", "Uno mattina", "Piacere Raiuno".
From 1995 to 2000, he was President of the Lazio Region.
From 2000 to 2008 he went back to television and journalism working as RAI correspondent from Paris, Brussels and Berlin. He then became director of RAI International and from 2009 to 2011 he was a RAI correspondent from Madrid.
He is also the author of many books, which tackle social and religious themes as:
