VARUNA
Duo composed by Nicola Buscioni (Hang Drum) and Francesca Natali (voice).

Among the vibrations of the hang drum and the voice, a musical experimentation with very soft sounds is born, ranging from sacred songs and Indian mantras to "dusted off" melodic songs from the rock of the 70s/90s up to the Italian singer-songwriter of that same period.
Since autumn 2020 Varuna have taken their first steps in the squares, streets and ravines of small and large cities playing mainly in the street but also in holistic contexts (accompaniment of yoga sessions and energy treatments).
In May 2022 their first album "Between the Sacred and the Profane" was born, an expression of revisited and reworked covers and original pieces.

Nicola Buscioni: Drummer, percussionist.
Long-standing musical experience as a drummer and percussionist, he plays in bands of different genres ranging from rock to popular music, from songwriting to World Music.
He studied tablas in India, with master Nirmal Goswami (city of Benares) on his various trips to the "Subcontinent".
He studied Djembè in the Ivory Coast (one month seminar at the school of percussion in Abidjan, 2011).
He collaborated with the GAD of Pistoia (Theater) dealing with the musical part of the Opera da Tre Soldi for a total of 25 performances.
He still collaborates with Daniela Dolce in the female choir Agorà dealing with the rhythm section.
Since 2017 he has deepened the study of the Hang Drum accompanying yoga sessions, meditation, energy treatments.

Francesca Natali: Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance certificate obtained from the Olistic Network Florence), Hatha Yoga teacher (certificate obtained from the "Sai Yoga Self Realization Society" school in Tapovan Rishikesh).
Reiki Master Harry T. method (expansion of Dr. Usui Mikao's system).
She has been studying singing for several years with various teachers and is part of the Agorà ethnic music female choir.
Ten-year theatrical experience: he has been part of various amateur companies (training at the "Il Funaro" Cultural Center) and various workshops with Andrea Battistini.
She attended several popular dance courses in southern Italy and conducted several dance workshops for disabled children.
