A 100% self-powered adventure: Jochen Mesle and Max Kroneck start their biggest and most extraordinary ski tour so far. The mission: Bikepacking across the alps and skiing some iconic mountains along the way - no motor allowed! The two friends have traveled the world for many mountainous adventures, but while skiing in distant locations this idea grew in their minds: a ski expedition that starts right on their own doorsteps. Six weeks, 1.800 km, 35.000 vertical meters and a dream come true.
THE GREAT ROUTE - Maximilian Stolarow 10’
An incredible SUP trip along the west coast of Greenland to show the effects of global warming in the high north. Stand up paddler Michael Walther, photographer Daniell Bohnhof and filmmaker Maximilian Stolarow were on the trail of the inuit ancestors. Following their “THE GREAT ROUTE” from Aasiaat to Ilulissat to find out more about the life on the rough island in the past and in the present. Apart from icebergs, never ending days and minus 15 degrees, they met the inspiring Valdemar Petersen, a 84 y.o hunter and poet.
Their trip along “THE GREAT ROUTE” shows that we have to act, to protect this unique northern region and of course our whole planet!

A dream team of six elite climbers mount an expedition to one of the world's last great climbing frontiers: the remote frozen towers of Antarctica.
