AMACA TREKKING - 2 DAYS EXCURSION

Amaca Trek is an "ultra-light" excursion format created by the two founders of Vette and Baite (Riccardo Giorgis) and Camminate Fotografiche (Simone Antonelli) who tell us about it:
"Sleeping lulled by the rustle of the wind and the breath of the forest is an emotion that is difficult to explain ... the only option we have is to let you live with us ... No it's not a fairy tale, it's all real, we've already done it with so many people and it was just cool"
The excursion will take participants to discover the Pistoia Apennines and the nearby border peaks that form the natural watershed between the regions of Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.
Departure from San Marcello Piteglio, with loaded backpacks towards Monte Gennaio, through the mountains that dominate Pistoia, above all the Crocicchio, Monticelli and Terminaccio, across the enchanted Foresta del Teso and finally on the highest peak of the day, Mounte Gennaio precisely.
Once filled with views and fresh air, the descent to the ideal location to set up the camp will begin.

The next day, after an unforgettable night in the forest, the return to San Marcello and to the village of the Adventure Outdoor Fest will be along a gentler and more sheltered route, through woods that have seen the passage of human beings over the millennia and up to the present day.

The appointment is part of the first edition of SentieroZero, a gathering of walkers who, mainly on Sunday 3 July, will see the participation of numerous associations present to share, tell and exchange their own walking experiences.
