After the Buck Moon illuminated the night sky on July 21, the much-anticipated Blue Moon of August is approaching. This month will feature not only spectacular astronomical events, such as the Perseids, the famous meteor shower that will be clearly visible between August 11 and 14, shortly after the night of San Lorenzo, but also captivating lunar phenomena, including the traditional summer full moon.
The first lunar event to note is the New Moon, which will occur on August 4. During this phase, our satellite will be completely dark, with 0% illumination.
An ideal situation for stargazing here in the Teso Forest.
