The ‘Sass di Stria ‘ (2,477 m.) is a minor peak of the Fanis group, known above all for its easy and frequent ‘Spigolo Sud’ clearly visible from the nearby Passo Falzarego, above which it stands out against the sky. The name refers to ancient local legends narrating it was the residence of a witch.
The proposed route is suitable for beginners or less experienced climbers and the easy descent passes near the open-air museum of the Great War trenches.

It is possible to select a different route with the Guide, based on the level of the participants, chosing between some of the most famous routes that have written the history of mountaineering in the Dolomites : le Torri di Falzarego, le Cinque Torri, il Lagazuoi, i Bastioni di Mondeval, L’Averau e il Nuvolau, Torri del Sella.
