DOLOMITI GREEN TRAIL

RACE / CONTEST

In the heart of the Dolomites, in a spectacularly wild environment, takes place the Dolomites Green Trail, a mountain running race scheduled for Saturday, 27th July 2019, during the Adventure Outdoor Fest, with the starting and finishing line at Piani di Pezzé (Alleghe -BL).

The competition develops over two spectacular ring trails, one 27 km long and 1800 D + and the other 14 km long and 900 D +. It can also be experienced as a fun non-competitive walk in company of the athlete Grivel Moreno Pesce.

Runners will be able to experience an exciting adventure among fir and larch woods, along tunnels carved into the rock that open up to reveal green wide valleys. You will face short and fun screes and will be fascinated by the majestic Dolomites mountains including the Pelmo, the Civetta, the Antelao and the Croda da Lago with in the background the Marmolada glacier and the Sella group. On everything excels the beauty of the mountain, here in its greater expression.

Part of the proceeds from the entries to the race will be donated in favor of the reconstruction of a forest in the area (at Livinallongo). A green trail to plant trees in collaboration with WowNature.
