SOUND JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD

A performance/workshop for children to learn about the typical instruments and traditional music of cultures from different parts of the world.

Children will be actively and playfully involved in a journey around the world through the sounds and music of the various instruments described in their social and anthropological context, through stories and tales of the world's populations.

It will be a true trip around the world, starting from Europe, then moving on to Asia, Africa, Indonesia, Australia, and China.

Three 90-minute sessions at: 10:30 AM; 2:00 PM; 4:00 PM

Meeting Point : Festival Village - via del Teso 5900, Maresca, San Marcello Piteglio (Pt)

Suitable for : children aged 5 to 12

What to bring : desire to discover new music and sound
