The LaVenta association is both an internationally recognized gem for the speleological research and a great advocate of the earth and wildlife preservation.
How those two elements are entwined in the DNA of the association can be perceived by observing their last mission in the Gorner Glacier in Switzerland and in the Mexican forest in Chiapas.
The latter has been conceived as an emergency rescue for a fall named "Arbol de Navidad".
The fall is a symbol for the Sumidero National Park and the whole of Chiapas: it constitutes a natural monument which attracts hundreds of thousands tourists per year.
The cave from which the fall originates was nearly clogged and the explorers from LaVenta had cleaned the cave in order to restart the water flowing flawlessly, and they made it!
The folks form La Venta will present this achievement through images and videos in an evening dedicated to nature and exploration.
