We at the Adventure Outdoor Fest chose this tweet from by Erri De Luca to introduce to our guest Nives Meroi, one of the greatest woman mountaineers ever, that will be with us with her life and mountain partner, Romano Benet, to present her book under the guide of the journalist Fausta Slanzi, who is also an ambassador for Unesco Dolomiti Foundation.
Nieves’ new book "Non ti farò aspettare" (Rizzoli, 2015) (I will not keep you waiting) depicts a story which began and finished in the same Mountain, the Kangchenjunga, one of the 8000mt peaks.
Nives will describe an odyssey lasted five years.
And nothing can be said other than what Nieves said in an interview: “the story’s setting is a Mountain, but that’s a story about life..."
