Saturday 2 July, during the Adventure Outdoor Fest 2022, the first edition of the SEGNAVIE RUN will be held, an appointment for trail runners and trekking lovers to discover some wonderful places in the territory of San Marcello Piteglio (Pt), in the Tuscany mountains.
The event is linked to "Segnavie": a project capable of creating, in recent years, a complete network of valley trails, connected to the CAI high mountain paths, which binds and connects the villages and towns of the Pistoia mountains through many new and interesting itineraries, along streams and in luxuriant woods, touching areas of relevance such as villas, isolated parish churches and medieval infrastructures.
The route, a short trail of 13 km and 700 D +, can be tackled both as a competitive race and as a recreational non-competitive event.
The departure is scheduled from the Suspended Bridge of Mammiano Basso, seat of the Festival village, to continue along the Lima stream, overlooking the Popiglio Towers and the ancient Bridge of Castruccio Castracani, dating back to the 13th century. .
From here it will continue in green woods, mainly chestnut woods, skirting the tiny hamlet of Lolle, that of Piteglio and the luxuriant Oasi Dynamo with the "Case Luigi" visitor center, before crossing the splendid Borgo Migliorini.
After a last total immersion in the woods, of about 3 km, runners will cross the center of San Marcello Pistoiese before returning to the arrival point at the suspension bridge.
Online registrations will close on 28 JUNE 2022: in any case they will be closed when 150 registered athletes will be reached.

-14km 700D + competitive FIDAL: € 20.00
-14km 700D + non-competitive: € 16.00
