Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a fluid style following the alignment of movement and breath, a method which turns asanas (positions) into a dynamic flow.
The length of one inhale or one exhale dictates the length of time spent transitioning between asanas.
The steady cycle of inhales and exhales provides the practitioner with a calming, mental focal point. Additionally, vinyasa along with this type of breathing creates internal heat, which leads, through and increase in circulation and sweating, to the body purification.
Vinyasa Yoga allows you to switch from one position to another without pausing, without crystallizing, as in life, where everything is in flux and constantly changing.
