MAGICAL NIGHTS: TREKKING WEEKEND WITH TENT AND DINNER UNDER THE STARS

Terre in Cammino offers a two-day trek in the splendid beech forest of the Teso Forest, on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, and a breathtaking view that ranges from the Apuan Alps to the Alps!
Those who are unable to leave in the afternoon can join the group of participants in the evening for the Concert, the Dinner in the Forest and the Night Excursion.

The overnight stay is in a tent, with the possibility of renting for €12 per person.

Description of the experience:

Day 1 – Saturday 10 August
Departure from Pistoia and arrival at Casetta Pulledrari in the early afternoon, setting up/assembling the tents.

Relaxing afternoon, possibility of free participation at 5:30 pm at the event “Montagne in Scadenza” an event, with a deliberately provocative title, created by the writer and guide Federico Pagliai who gathered for this occasion his friends and writers Mirto Campi, Maurizio Ferrari, Ayala Bertolini and the poet Brunello Lorenzini, known as “Scarpa Grossa”, for a chat moderated by the journalist Mauro Banchini.

Time: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Concert “La Foresta dei Gitani” with Andalusian music played by a guitar and percussion duo
7:30 pm GRAND DINNER in the Forest
9:30 pm departure for a fantastic night excursion to Poggio dei Malandrini to watch the fall of the Perseids and make lots of wishes!

Daily Km: 8.5 Km. Positive difference in altitude: 550 m.

Day 2 – Sunday 11 August
After a hearty breakfast, in the cool of the Forest, the second excursion will start!

Through the Teso beech forest you will reach the summit of MONTE GENNAIO and then descend to the PORTA FRANCA and MONTANARO refuges, touching the various POGGI that characterize this area.
Packed lunch with the possibility of purchasing sandwiches on site.

The excursion is challenging for km and altitude difference but does not present any objective difficulty, there are no exposed sections or uneven surfaces.

Daily km: 16 Km. Positive altitude difference: 1050 m.+

Important information
The camping area is equipped, with the possibility of using bathrooms and showers.
There is also the lovely Pulledrari Social Wood kiosk where dinner and breakfast will be served the following morning.
Dinner: APPETIZER: cheeses with a selection of jams, schiacciata, crostini and GRIGLIATA: Pork, Rosticciana, Sausage, Scamerita, Bread, Mixed grilled vegetables.

Transport costs made with private vehicles are never included.
It will be possible, however, at the free choice of the participants, to share parking spaces and costs from the meeting point to the starting point of the trek, estimated at € 20.00 for the entire round trip, based on the ViaMichelin kilometer calculation.
