YOGA X RUNNERS: RECOVER AFTER RUNNING

CLASS / WORKSHOPS / CAMP

Yoga at the service of the runner to prevent injuries and optimize gesture and endurance during and after the race.

A simple but effective practice of rhythmically breath-cadenced positions, to actively de-contract, stretch, carry oxygen in the areas contracted from the race, while strengthening and soliciting the antagonist muscles.

Yoga is the only discipline that combines ( from “yoga” = "union"), stretching and strengthening in breath, creating a feeling of alignment in body and balance in mind.

Runners will then be enabled to hear in the '"asanas", in the position, the same effect of "meditation in action" they feel during the race, discovering deep affinities between the two activities as old as the human being.
