PIAN DI NOVELLO BOULDER 2023

Bouldering is a sport climbing specialty which consists of climbing boulders (natural or artificial) with an average height of between 2 and 4 metres. As of 2020 it is part of the Olympic disciplines.

While looking for areas where to practice this activity, the friends of Black Flag Sasso found in the Pian Di Novello area, along the itinerary that runs alongside the Sestaion stream, a perfect place and a great novelty for the Tuscan bouldering scene, given the presence of blocks of beautiful sandstone.
The scalable boulders present, with majestic shapes worked by the water, are ready to climb, in total respect of the rock and the environment.
Thus was born, within the Adventure Outdoor Fest, the first edition of Pian di Novello Boulder, a day of gathering in which to "inaugurate" these wonderful boulders.
In order to participate in the totally free climbing meeting, you need to pre-register on this page.
All registered participants will have the possibility, indicating it in the notes at the time of pre-registration, to camp for free with their own tent in the Festival Village, at the Parco del Laghetto del Ponte Sospeso, in the locality of Mammiano Basso (San Marcello Piteglio PT).
