The 11th edition of the Adventure Outdoor Fest ended on Sunday, July 28th!
This event, sponsored by the Tuscany Region and the Province of Pistoia, and supported by the Municipality of San Marcello Piteglio and the Caript Foundation, saw a new and exciting location: the "Casetta de Pulledrari", immersed in the Teso Forest at 1220 meters above sea level.
This year, the Festival offered an extraordinarily rich program, with activities that deeply involved participants, transporting them on an exciting and unique journey: from experiences immersed in nature to musical events, from meetings with authors to moments of debate dedicated to the redevelopment and protection of mountain areas, through courses in the most varied disciplines with professional instructors and guides from all over Italy.

From the first day, July 25th, the atmosphere was full of energy and wonder, with workshops ranging from the Gong bath to the Hula Hoop course, through Slackline, Indoboard, and Aerial Dance. The emotion was palpable during the Acroyoga, Laughter Yoga and Capoeira courses, where participants experienced a deep sense of connection and joy.
The activities organized to experience and enjoy nature directly from its womb offered moments of pure magic: from walking therapy to the discovery of biodiversity, to unforgettable nights under the stars, around a circle of fire or sleeping in hammocks suspended between the trees. Barefoot walks and sound immersions in the woods awakened in participants a sense of belonging to the earth, strengthening the bond with nature.
The cultural meetings, led by the charismatic presenter Wendy Muraro, enriched the Festival with moments of introspection and inspiration. The words and music of the singer-songwriter Giacomo Rossetti, the stories of Tiziano Fratus, author of "Alberodonti d'Italia", the adventures of Salvatore Pizzo, protagonist of numerous trips around the world, the verses of Emiliano Cribari, a poet who finds his main source of inspiration in nature, resonated deeply, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those present.

Saturday 27 July was almost entirely dedicated to walkers: the SentieroZero event/container, in fact, began with a trek led by the writer and environmental guide Federico Pagliai, and continued with several talks that featured new and historic entities committed to the protection and knowledge of the mountains: Walkplus, Around the Walk, 3Bee, CAI Toscana, Il Cammino di San Bartolomeo, A Ovest del Cimone, Salviamo le Apuane, FederTrek, Strade Maestre, Aigae Toscana, Vette e Baite. Speakers included the journalist from Gazzetta dello Sport, editor-in-chief of Sportweek, Andrea Mattei, and the YouTuber and hiking guide Omar “Omero” Martinello, testimonial for Garmont, main sponsor and official shoe of the Festival.

The Forest Family Run, a non-competitive race, whose proceeds will go entirely to support a solidarity project, organized on Sunday 28 for free walkers and families, was also a great success: many wore the official shirt made by Tigotà, from very young children to the most experienced runners.

All the evenings of the Festival ended with music, with performances by Music & Percussion Experience of the Luigi Tronci Foundation, High Voltage and Alysei – young musicians from the Live Music Camp school – and The Roots Club with its psychedelic reggae.

The participants of the Festival, coming from all over Italy, were also able to visit the numerous stands set up in the Village, and enjoy the delicacies prepared at the “Pulledrari Social Wood” kiosk, not only a refreshment point, but a meeting and sharing place that will also be operational in the months of August and September to offer a refuge and a point of reference to anyone who wants to spend their time in the preciousness of nature offered by the Teso Forest.
A preciousness that was the center, the fulcrum, the beating engine of a Festival that, in this new Forest Edition guise, was promoted with full marks and deeply touched everyone’s hearts.
The “in Foresta” events of the Adventure Outdoor Fest will continue throughout the summer with exciting evening excursions with a final aperitif, walks and dog trekking, meetings and music.
