In this special event, author Maurizio Serafini takes us on a journey through words and music, inspired by his book Concerto per cornamusa e giramondo – In viaggio con musicisti ribelli (Bagpipes and Wanderlust – A Journey with Rebel Musicians).

An adventure that begins in the restless provinces of the Seventies, amid scratched vinyl records and rebellious dreams, and takes Maurizio to play everywhere—from Irish pubs to the oases of the Sahara—never ceasing to travel, for music and with music.

A journey that reveals not only the charm of bagpipes and Celtic folk music, but also the power of freedom, creativity, and human connection.

The evening will be enriched by original music composed by the community of musicians from the Montelago Celtic Festival, a true “nomadic city” founded by Serafini himself—now a symbol of alternative culture and artistic sharing.
